Job Description
The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for the following functions of the Highway Department office:
· Monitor the department’s Go.Gov app, website, and all email and phone calls to the department; answer and assign reported concerns from these channels.
· Responding and directing residents to report concerns or other requests they may have.
· Manage bond requests through the Go.Gov app, prepare paperwork, schedule inspections, and release bonds after final inspection.
· Receive all bills, assign bills to proper budget line item, and take over to main office for payment, maintain payroll reporting and take to main office.
· Due to the nature of the department’s primary work, the office is attached to a working mechanics shop, which can be loud and dusty from time to time.
· Appropriate Office attire including closed toe footwear is required.
Compensation and Benefits
· Full-Time Position 40-hour week in office from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday.
· Annual salary, $60,000- $65,000 depending on experience

Job Requirements
• High school diploma required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a receptionist, executive assistant, or administrative support capacity is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-focused and service-oriented approach.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and maintain close attention to detail.
• Proven success handling multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team setting.
• Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and a strong workplace presence.
